Today January 31, 2022, is another wonderful feast of St. John Bosco in our Parish. This year feast is special for many factors of the year 2022, people, and the way in which the youth animated the participants.
Our guests this year were from the following communities:
- Jesuits
- Franciscans
- Diocesan
- Comboni
- Evangelizers
- Holy family
- Joseph brothers
- And faithful from different parishes of Wau Town.
The message of the day was clear enough; God the Good shepherd wants to humanity through the Church and charisms /mission entrusted to different saints in the church special St. John Bosco for the youth. He uses to say to the young people of his time: jump, dance, and enjoy yourself, but do not sin”.
We pray for the youth of our parish who animated the feast so that they may be able to take advantage of the opportunities available in our parish community to build themselves and their good future. And for all the young people, faithful and friends who came for first time to our parish, we pray that they may be blessed, protected by God now and forever amen. And for the Salesian family that we may be blessed with good health to carry out our responsibility, with vocations for religious life and wisdom to accompany young people entrusted to our care. Happy Feast to us all.
